It would be rather silly to have a page on the web, and not put some sort of personal information up about myself, wouldn't it? I mean, isn't that the purpose of the World Wide Web? To tell total strangers things about people they've never met?

Right.

My name is Sarah. Yes, with an H, the "old-fashioned" spelling. I was born in 1972, and I'm a Pisces. To those of you who can do math, you know how old I am. To those of you who know me, the sign should come as no surprise. I'm an only child, and my parents are probably happier that way. I was adopted, and I've never known my birth parents. It's something I'm curious about, but not something I've put any real effort into resolving. One day, perhaps. If not, I'll live. I have a family.

I currently live in Northern California, though I've lived on both coasts of the United States, and several places in between. I even did a summer between my junior and senior years of high school in Japan. In hindsight, I'd have spent those three months differently. At the time, it was overwhelming, and terrifying, and fantastic. I highly recommend it to any students considering study abroad.

I graduated from E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, VA, though I attended Monterey High School in Monterey, CA, and Natrona County High in Casper, WY as well. I attended American University in Washington, DC, but I didn't graduate. No, instead, I found the 'net.

Not, mind you, that the net was all bad. It was on the 'net that I met my husband, Dennis. We were married on February 14th, 1998. Nope, no pictures. We suck. He works in the computer industry; I've been unemployed since February 2001, though I'm always looking for ways to break into writing.

Other fascinating things about me:

• I'm a member of the local chapter of the Romance Writers of America. Our chapter is the Sacramento Valley Rose.
• I moderate the Fantasy Writers' Forum at the Writers' BBS. Yes, this used to be Inkspot. Inkspot, unfortunately, doesn't exist anymore. Nor do I moderate anymore, but it's still a good place.
• I spend a great deal of time roleplaying.
